Description
Artist Jeon sang geun produces white porcelain dishware and black porcelain dishes. All works are made by wheel throwing and plate molding and completed through delicate shaping. He has experience as a winner and participant of various contests and exhibitions. He produces porcelain that are inspired by what in Corea, which he reinterprets into something part of daily life, and designs his matte dishware to be light and practical.
The Pure White Porcelain Series uses Corean representative white porcelain clay and applies Corean-style objects and techniques. He is producing a work of art. The artist's white porcelain works are based on the shapes and materials of white porcelain from the Joseon Dynasty.
