Silver Cake Stand

Heami Lee’s Silver Cake Stand begins as fine, unglazed porcelain, meticulously bisque-fired in her Seoul, South Korea studio. Each piece is then coated in pure silver, fired once more, and hand-polished to a radiant sheen. This process is repeated three to four times, creating a luminous, mirror-like surface designed to age with grace—developing a rich, organic patina that tells its own story over time.
